A-and-B - that ultimately is the point - there seems not to be any will for

blog enhancement through templates.

Either amongst bloggers or management. The last time I did a few templates, so many more people were on the same membership plan that I am on, subsequently there was some interest. Now, I would have to change plans to produce another batch of templates that could be widely used. I can't be bothered.

No problem with the templates. You can always change again but with the incentives here, why bother?

sam444 - there was a time when I had made a few templates and they were

being used by a few bloggers here and there.

Unfortunately by the time I had worked out the bugs and figured our the best way to do them, not only did the Blogit membership plans change but they also introduced another type of interface for new accounts. All was not lost however, the experience led my to more complex templates, one of which I do quite well with as a commercial product.

geri - thanx for the loading speed feedback - it is most helpful

I've found over the years what works best on this interface. The trick is to work within the limitations and stick to the basic important rules of webpages (loading speed is right up there in importance). The color choices are always a dilemma for me but easily changed by someone with more design talent.

It is my not so humble opinion that Blogit should be looking at some new areas of interest in order to survive in the coming years. A template gallery could be a suggestion.

I do like this new template. The two shades of blue and the white and the well balanced layout, make it simple, yet elegant and easy on the eyes. It also had no problem loading on my page fast and correct.

Nice nice nice.

mysteria -you would laugh if you knew the mental contortions I went through
I set out to produce the greatest blog template of all time. In the end I found myself simply trying to produce something that didn't look horrific. I am missing the design gene, I'm sure of it, I have no future as an interior decorator.
