Re: We've
KaBooM--I say that's a lovely thing! I like the concept from
A Christmas Carol: keeping Christmas in the heart all year long. That way when these things pull us away from the date of tradition, it's no biggie to celebrate on another day.

Re: fine
lustorlove---wooo! another double celebration! I'd honestly rather have them closer together too, but Son #1 is starting at the police acadamy out west where he lives and won't be able to make it back to Ohio until then. Also, Son #2 found cheap plane tickets. *sigh*. Those boys are worth it though.

This made me laugh and it's good to read we all have our family
eccentricities to live with. I wouldn't go near that room either. I think one might catch something 'orrible if they did.

Re:
Ex Turpi---Yeah, he's about as real as they get. There are five words I dread coming from him: "I'll take care of it." This means, "I'll take it down into that room I keep locked in the basement that is piled high with all kinds of garbage that I don't want to throw away but really should, because it's garbage." Yes, this includes mini boxes of fruitcake, junk mail, pictures that have battery acid spilled on them, giant honey bottles out of which he's going to one day make fly catchers...
I never go in that room. It would give me a heart attack.
