riri, how sweet...............
I'll be 66 in Feb.  I believe i'm dying from not being able to move around.  I'm green with envy.  My very best for your mom's continued good health.  I had my knee replaced last year - it really wouldn't have been so difficult had I had two legs.  I got through it though and your dad will do just fine.  I probably shouldn't compare their health to mine - it's just jealousy, that's all!  hahaha  God bless them! and you, too!

My mother and father are both very active, moreso than I am. Mom is 65
and Dad is 73.  I'm 2/3 thier age and find it difficult just to walk around inside my house...

Energy...
I seem to have plenty at work, but at home I am mostly a slug.  Now we have a new kitten (from a pet rescue organization) and I have to find out why my camera won't talk to the computer so I can post a photo.

I do know about genes my mom even at 90 I had a hard time keeping up with until she got sick, but I too refuse to get old.  Some people I talk to everyday sound like they are in their 80's and think just because you are in you 60's or older your life stops not true.  Happy Birthday to your mom
