Every town and every bar has a 'Terry.' Ours was named Penny way back in 70-something. She fell one night and hit her head in a drunken stupor, no one was there to help her and so there she bled to death with her head on the cold fireplace. In the hear and now, in this little town where I live now our Terry was named Indian Doug. He was a staple of our little society here, everyone knew him, though he couldn't rmemeber a one of our names. Passed out at the bar, passed out on the curb, stumbling down the street, and one day his doc's said, 'hey you gotta give up the booze.' He told them to 'F' off and one day Indian Doug's liver just fell apart, it literally fell apart. Of course dear Indian Doug is dead and there wasn't a dang thing we could have done for him for it was his choice, his way of wanting to go. So pray for Terry's soul, that's all you can do.
