Yes, I have read his translation "Waiting for Godot", by a Russian playwright. I'll write about it someday. Quabbani's sister too, committed suicide because she was being forced to marry a man whom she did not love. This is typical of the Arabic and also Hundu society. This made a profound impression on him and much of his poetry concerned the experiences of women in a traditional Arab society. You have written about him very beautifully.
