Who really cares? The argument is imbecilic at best -- on either side of

the issue.  Much ado about nothing.  Especially since it's a company policy issue (Westaff, to be exact).  The ACLU has nothing to do with it.  Yell at them for some of their other asinine lawsuits, but, so far, they're clear on this one.

you really are ready to take a weird story

and blow it up into something that it's not and blanket attribute the developments to those whom you have problems with.

 

that's all right -- somehow youdon't understand the principle of liberty.

either it's liberty for everyone or it's liberty for no one.

we don't take away liberties because of alleged actions.

that's civil liberties.

some people get things wrong.  the "hohoho" thing is one of them.  part of it is also that this seems more threatening to toddlers than hahaha -- but thenagain -- a nicer hohoho might owrk.

there are more important things than what Santa says.

Dear Red:

This is what we call in Rhetoric Class aStraw Man Argument;  where you set up a (usually weak) opponents argument just to knock it down.  The ACLU was not mentioned in the article, filed no complaints about the practice, and has no influence in Australia!!!  It's the American Civil Liberties Union, not the Australian Civil Liberties Union. 

The ACLU is dedicated to the defense of the bill of rights; the 1st ten amnedments to the US  Constitution.  I don't even know if Australia even has a constitution.  Look, there's plenty to pick on the ACLU about if you're a Red Stater, so don't go making stuff up!!!

RedStatesMan: It's hilarious that anyone would be offended by Santa saying ''Ho Ho Ho'' but it's sad for the children.  All Christmas traditions whether they are celebrated in the United States or elsewhere are now thrown out the window.

Oh, the ACLU is not in the business of political correctness? HA! I can prove this but this post is leading to others that will lead to the truth which I have found on the ACLU website itself. So stay tuned and don't jump to soon to conclusions that I do not know what I am talking about. Your attempts to support your ACLU at every turn was expected. I am not paranoid or grasping at straws, just stating  facts to prove that the ACLU is part of the problem. This is one silly story, I will agree with you there.
