It could be a bit of both, sugarsugar. Your brain is an amazing
bio-computer that has the ability to extrapolate endlessly. Taking something that you were familiar with (the feeling of fear at seaside) and what is going on in your life and your hopes and fears, your brain projects to compensate and cope. The problem is that we only remember a few of our dreams. We have thousands per night, each lasting only seconds. You just happened to remember this one. Does it mean anything? Maybe; maybe not.

I tried dreammoods.com, was very enlightening. It was to do with emotions and the wave that almost swept me out was to do with emotions I need to deal with that became overwhelming, hence the sweeping out to sea part
