What's In A Color?

We should be more concerned about what is in a person's mind, not what color they might be.

Even though this is not new to me, it is still depressing. After all these years, you would think we have changed somewhat. But underneath, many have only aged in years and not in mind. That's why when I hear someone like Ann Coulter say "They should just get over it" when she talks about how Black people always want to use the "race" card as their excuse for everything. All we're trying to say is we don't need an excuse to use it when it's already being used every day by prejudice.

before it got cold outside I was playing Luther and the Commodores really really loud so they coud hear it - the kids just needed a ride to school and they are just kids.  if I didn't love my house so much i might move.  but there would be a jerk somewhere else too.

when i was struggling as a single parent juggling jobs and children - i remember those that were kind enough to help me.  life is hard enough without all this other bullshit.

I SIMPLY CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THEY HAVE SOME TYPE OF INNATE SUPERIORITY BECAUSE OF THEIR COLOR. I AM WHITE AND SICK OF THE GOOD IN ANY RACE BEING TRASHED BEFORE THEY GET AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE WHO THEY ARE. LET'S GET AWAY FROM COLOR AND GET INVOLVED WITH THE GREAT MINDS IN ALL THE COLORS OF RACE. NO ONE, NO ONE IS ABOVE ANYONE WHEN IT COMES TO BEING A GOOD HUMAN BEING. I APPLAUD YOU ON YOUR EFFORTS.
