I am not angry, just annoyed. I had several people go and start saying I was ignorant because I did not share their beliefs. I felt it was them being righteous and telling me they were knew better than me and that I should listen to them.
My choice of non-religion is because I used my mind and saw the world and decided for myself what I believe. It had nothing to do with how others treated me.
And I have never said only the Christians do stuff that I disagree with. They are just the most obvious.
All the Buddhist I have met, who are actually serious about it, are some of the easiest people to get along with it. Just figured I put that note in here.

your argument, and your anger, seems to be directed toward people.  What are your feelings about the character of God?  Have you considered what He has to say in response to your comments?  People are human (I know, duh) but God is divine.  What I mean is: people in general, be they Islam, Muslim, Buddist or Christian, atheist or agnostic, are always going to be hard, unforgiving, judgemental or just plain mean in one occasion or another.  You can't say that only Christians are those things, because you know you would be wrong, no?  However, God is never any of those things.  You say you were raised in church.  Do you remember what the Bible reveals is the character of God?  The Bible shows us that Jesus embodies the character of God - "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also" (John 8:19b).  Jesus never is falsely righteous.  He is righteous because he is holy.  Christians are only righteous because righteousness is given to us as a gift by Jesus.  It is not something that anyone has earned, so if any person is prideful about any righteousness they may have then that is a flaw in the character of that person, not of God.  So who are you angry at, people or God?  Go ahead and be angry about people.  But I hope you don't let the actions or attitudes of people dictate how you feel about the one Holy God.

You are so full of it
I am a free thinking intelligent person, and that is one of the biggest fears of any religious leader. If more people started thinking for themselves then organized religion would fail.
It is well documented that Christians have been womanizers since the begining. It is one of the reasons there is such a big thing over Mother Teressa becoming a saint. Yes, I know that that is Catholic, but it falls under the same umbrella. I understand much about our culture, which if you had your way you would destroy in place of a form of slavery.
Just as a side note, since I get the feeling you think anyone who disagrees with you is on drugs, I can tell you I do no drugs at all. I very rarely have a drink even.
Pull your head out of you rear and stop trying to categorize everyone.
My main belief system is simply this. I have the right to believe as I will and live my life as I will as long as it does not effects another rights to the same. That is the foundation of America.
I do not for one moment believe that Christians believe anything close to that.

Since you using my blog as a podium
You do fit the #1 category of being clueless because your definition of traditional morality (vs. relativistic morality) is so far offbase and unbiblical (Christians were among the first to elevate the role of women), and your inability to delve beneath the surface (duh, uh, gee...let's just all get along) to even attempt to understand the philosophies underlying our culture are dead giveaways to your ignorance and intellectual lazyness.  As for judging, there's something to be said for having discernment, of which, you obviously have very little...but can we be friends anyway cuz um that's all that really matters, since life is just one big smokefest?
