I've always enjoyed flying.  I don't really enjoy riding a long distance in the car.  I get tooooooo tired and anxious.  Flying gets me there in a short time and I'm ready to do what I've gone to do.  I'm not fond of flying in thunderstorms though - very, very scary, it is.

I don't want to nit-pick, but I think you meant 2,700 miles, not 27,000, which would take you...well, hard to say... And I have never been able to understand this business of 'as the crow flies'! It's meant to be straight, but any crow I have ever seen has never flown more than a few hundred feet in straight line...

well I am glad you had a good flight, maybe the reason I feel that way is I dont travel much so its frustrating getting your luggage from one spot to the next, especially when you are traveling alone

I flew to VA and actually security was not bad.  I understnad Phoenix AZ is pretty tight..but we did all right from Las Vegas.

Hi Rumored

It is a long trip from West Coast to East Coast.. USA .I stretched a bit, but it was a straigt flight.  I was a bit tired but happy to arrive safely.

Lou, thatmust have been quite the trip..very lengthy..do you get tired

on such a long trip??..I'd be wating to get out and stretch my legs.....

I dont like to fly mainly for one reason, the mess it is to go through security.  I like your description of the sky.  Wow where did you go?
