Speaking of getting email on comments

I just recieved one. I was very nice to a new blogger and pointed out why they probably didn't like something was due to a generation gap problem. They told me it was a morality issue. Guess what, they won't have to worry about another comment because I won't read them again.

Whew,

In my own way, I've tried to point out that tackles are part of football (American or European) just like criticism is part of writing.  I don't believe that a public forum is a place to be coddled.  Encouraged, yes; criticized yes; insulated, no.  I can and would cheerfully accept any criticism leveled at me, even if it were not complimentary and downright graphic.  I have definitely said some things that are insulting.  I've never meant to hurt anyone's feelings however.  I've just posted a 'tongue in cheek" confession for being intolerant of all sorts of stupid stuff.  I like to think of it as humor, black maybe, but humor none the less.  I also like to think that humor is a way to get us all to look at our deficiencies with the aim of correcting the ones we can.  I might be wrong.  If I am, don't hold back.
