The ACLU should be extinct. Although they may have had good intentions in the beginning their mission and agenda is obvious (especially these days)...They are no more looking out for your rights as they are mine..

JUSTI AND EX TURPI: I will post many more instances to prove the contradictory, socialist and communist ways of the ACLU. Thanks for the comments, they are always appreciated, positive and negative. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I am as disappointed as you are when rulings are made against ideas that we consider sacrosanct. Yet, it is the Constitution which overrides all our pet wishes. The Bill of Rights was introduced primarily to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority; to protect the ONE against the MANY. It is a difficult principle to uphold; but we should. What would you say if a teacher introduced the Koran, or the Jewish equivalent, and one christian parent objected?

We can read the bible anywhere, anytime, without exposing persons to it who do not wish to be exposed. That is why the United States is such a great country. Forget the foibles of the ACLU. That is not important here. It is important that we be tolerant and respect the wishes of the Founding Fathers.

Go and read Immanuel Kant and his philosophy and read The Sermon on the Mount. Then, I am convinced you will come away with a different understanding of what the proper approach, in these difficult situations, should be.

How come everybody does not know this. They have been blatant about their communists affiliations from the beginning, their founding statement says their goals is to take all the properties of the individual land owner and place it in the hands of the government for it's best use for all. Of course that is not verbatim it is the concept total and full. Keep talking!
