Exactly. I did think that Biden did a great job and Edwards did as good a job as possible in the face time he got in this debate.
Somone last night at an Edwards event in Los Gatos suggested that the debates be like Survivor with one candidate being voted off the "island" so that we end up with debates at this point in the campaign that have only the top 3 or 4 (or even 5) candidates so that we can get to see the candidates that matter at this stage up close and personal rather than the moderators having to ask questions of everyone (like Dodd or Kucinich who have no chance in hell at this point...and I'm not sure add much to the conversation).

Edwards saying it wasn't personal, saying that he backed off Hillary a little. I think it was a pretty good move on his part because I think she looked like an idiot, calling what Edwards was doing "mudslinging." Did he mention Whitewater or Monica Lewinsky? No, he did not.
Personally, I think Joe Biden won the debate, hands down. I think Edwards came in a close second, neck and neck with Kucinich. Hillary looked a lot better than the last debate, but her sparring session with Obama didn't get to the mark.
