- Go to They're Three Months Two Late With The Bonds Indictment
Anything's possible, jollyjeff. I think it would have done MLB and
the Justice Dept. a world of good to have hoisted his steroid-using ass out of baseball one home run shy. I don't know anyone who likes Bonds, so where would the loss be...?

Makes me wonder
if major league baseball pressured the grand jury to delay the indictment so they could collect the $ they got as a result of the record chase.

Opium use wasn't always illegal, either, Frankenkitty, but it is now. And
the legal issues apply to the now of things. If that blimp-headed crybaby did something illegal, let him enjoy his home run record behind bars...

I heard a commentator
say that steroid use wasn't always illegal, and he brought up the point about Bonds performance prior to the criminalization of steroid use could be considered. I don't really care either way, it's kind of silly to me to even be so concerned about jock's steroid use when the country's in the crapper in so many ways. I guess I'm sort of tunnel-visioned in my own way when it comes to headlines. Take care
