Of all the domesticated animals I think Cats are the most challenging. They actually display personality, preferences, emotions and yes they cuddle well. I think they study us very well. My mother said, Cats don't live with us, we live with Cats. lol
Wise woman.

It is great to see the wild life eat and know you contributed. They really have a hard time looking for food and water. Good comment and thanks for your visit

Good comment, and you are so kind to think of a single bird. That is a bit spiritual my friend. Glad the bird made it.

Speaking of turkeys we had one to visit us in VA. It came to the end of the field. I had never seen one there. We got some bird feed and put it in an open plate and called the turkey. He came right up to us and ate and then later was gone. I was shocked. Maybe he belonged to someone and deserted home. I really don't know. You are right they are beautiful to watch.

Oooooh, says the coyote - right you are. It is an interesting pass time to watch and listen. I wonder if the animals like the sound of our voices as we like the sounds of their calls??

Lou, they have you under surveillance, huh? It does kind of give you
some creepy thoughts.

.we think we're so smart, but a lot of those animals have it over us in ways we tend to forget...

Lou...........
I forgot about the wild turkeys. They come around this time of year, as many as 50 - 60 at a time. They take over our yard as if they own it. They're interesting!

You're right, Lou...........
I love ito watch animals in our yard too, mostly deer, birds, squirrels, raccoons, and chipmunks. Some of them are pests, but they're pretty. On occasion, I've also seen a coyote out there, ooooooooooh

I feed birds and other wild life in my back yard!
I love to observe their social habits. I know they're watching me and waiting when it's time to refill the feeders!
