Nicely done, Tony. This may sound odd, but would you please keep in touch?

Tony,
Very nice and evocatively written so that the gory picture comes out loud and clear. To me it is a painting in sonnet.

Thanks guys - yeah, the red is quite bright isn't it.
It had to be red though. It wouldve been easier in retrospect to have made the text red on a white background. Yes, Enigmatico, there is anger but it's intellectual anger not spluttering rage, i hope. I really do think that I would be devastated if I had lost a son or daughter to war, and the crux is how many of those wars were necessary? Virtually none. Self-defence yes, but self-defence only becomes necessary after an act of aggression which is morally wrong, just like one individual suddenly striking another individual. So it's never right, altho sometimes, as in self-defence, we have to fight back.

This is a lovely memorial, but I could do without the red background
against the brilliant white screen, unless you could put some bright stars among those red and white stripes... :)
