We did review your email report. We didn't delete your previous entry on this blog, we just edited it to remove the item, since we request that reports be sent via email.

As I mentioned when responding to your previous entry, we do not respond to reports with information on the action we took (here's why).

As I also mentioned, we try not to delete the relevant items even when we send warnings, since some people seem to understand our decisions better when they can see the items in question.

Here are some alternatives:

a) Always delete the item.

b) Replace the item with "Deleted by BlogitStaff". This is public, but seems a bit harsh to write in someone's blog, even if their offense is severe.

c) Temporarily hide the item and ask the author to edit it to remove any offending content and resubmit it. This requires significant work, but we'd be willing to do it if it would be helpful.
