Regarding your concern that other members may have their accounts closed, please don't worry. In the case of the vast majority of members, we don't ever have to think about closing their accounts.
Our intent is to have Blogit be a safe haven for sensitive writers. We do listen carefully to what everyone has to say, but at the same time, we can't have mob rule.
This is a wonderful place, with lots of wonderful people. We hope you'll consider the wide range of opinions and relatively peaceful atmosphere on Blogit. Compared to, say, a typical discussion site -- where chaos rules and the strong drown out the weak -- the Blogit approach works pretty well.
If you have suggestions on improving the rules, please feel free to make suggestions!
