Thanks for reading.  Francis' life was definitely charmed.  Most of his contemporaries thought he was a nutcase...he had everything at the time, and rejected it all to hang out with lepers?  Its only when looking back that we see how it all worked together.

Thank you for this.  I have, of course, read the prayer many times, but I have not heard that story about St. Francis of Asisi.   He was quite a man for all times.
