I wonder how many people this frightens? I work with two retired folks who have their parents living in the hotel with them....one is devoted to his mother in terms of how he takes care of her every need, but he will vocalize his desire to die before he becomes a burden to anyone....the other is a caregiver, but seems very cold to her mother, treating her more like a mindless child, ignoring her when we are out, etc. - almost like a piece of luggage.....both make me sad when I am with them. I believe this film is how we should feel, but I see more than just these two I describe who don't want to "warehouse" their folks but are so unhappy about having to deal with them it's almost as bad. Anyway, thanks for sharing this.
