Loved your post right down to the last line. I would have ended it a bit differently. My phone seldom rings at that time of day. I would have said, "and then, Pitiful starts yowling for some attention and will not stop until I do what she wants." I hate hearing a cat (or a child) whining. LOL

Beautifully said Callis - about the internal calm once your batteries are fully charged with a sound sleep. Upon returning from a world of total forgetfulness, in deep sleep, you are bound to appreciate the dawn of a new day, and the energy that it provides.
