May I ask what type of work you're looking for? I may be able to offer some advice.

Hi Rob,

You've got what it takes: smarts, looks and personality... now, you need timing...meditate on that.

Greenfield's comment is very encouraging.  I like the way she thinks. Follow her advice and share your success with us.   Melody

oops, sorry you have to go through this.  It is a struggle, getting the job or the partner you want.  IN my kind of therapy the technique is called "putting it out there". You first write down what you want - kind of job, kind of partner - read it every night before going to sleep and then repeat it to yourself every night in bed, before you fall asleep.  It will happen, sooner or later.  The important starting point is clarity - about what you want.  Then the belief that you can get it.  And, not give up, or get disillusioned about it. Have faith in yourself and the world out there.

I've had the same problem with my job applications. The only bites I'm getting are things I'm not even close to being qualified for, and nothing that I'm remotely interested in. Sigh. Wen did job interviewing get so difficult?

Hey Rob...

Sorry about those jobs, mate.  No worries, something will come along for you...I just know it.

As for those dating websites...I have to be honest here and say I think people who've just broken up with someone (or been broken up with) tend to try to rush themselves forward so they won't be alone.  I don't mean at all to imply anything personal about you, just some repetitive observations I've made.

Here's my question...What woman in her right mind could resist a fella like you?  She must be plum crazy!

Don't worry, peachy.  When you're meant to find her, it'll happen.  I promise.

In the meantime...
