Thanks. I believe the tide has started to turn with Obama no longer being viewed as the alternative to Clinton. It is now Edwards vs Clinton. And Clinton is more of the same.
Most Americans don't trust anyone who can't answer questions without thinking thru how that answer may impact their electability in the general election. People voted for George W. because they felt that he had the strength of his convictions (however half assed).
John Edwards has the same connection with voters and believes in himself but is backed up by serious thought and smarts.
