Spinner, "wanting isn't needing" kept coming to me, as I was walking and
thinking of all the things that would be so nice to have: truffle oil, lavender lotions, etc.  I'd be tempted by them all. But then you get them home, and it's just "eh, another thing".   The less I have, the less I have to worry about.

TAPS, mmmmm, alpaca. Even the word is soft and cuddly.
Thank you for reading and nice to meet you.

Richinstore, "to market, to market" just stuck in my head as I was there,
especially since the entrance has a brass pig.  Sweet memories are the only kind to hold onto.  All the rest, you're better off erasing your mental hard drive and starting over.

Chrisja, I'm working to get better at it.

I don't think I will ever be a stickler for form, since the heart of a poem is so much more important to me than the form. But that's how I feel about life in general, lol.  It gets old caring about the outward manifestations, whenn all I really care about is love, in a personal sense and in a divine sense.

(woops, there I go, actually expressing an opinion on a subject. I try to avoid that, but sometimes it just slips out) Thanks for visiting, Chris.

Zena
What a fun read.  I love the thought of you fondling alpaca sweaters.  How could you not.  They are so soft.  LOL

A charming stroll through the market, and 'wanting isn't needing' is a great line...

Hi Zena - it sounds like a great market - it even attracts tourists!
By the way I found several sites offering Audacity but the one I went for charged me and now I can't get access to any user guides or anything and am somewhat stuck, so I'm intending to cancel that order and try to find a site that offers it for free, gives user tutorials and is a site you can trust. I was about to download from a free site but my computer kept warning me so i didn't dare. can you recommend a trustworthy site that gives me free software and can be trusted, i.e. isn't some scam or full of bugs? All I need is the website address. Thanks (sorry!)

Re: Re: i like this
zena, thanks for calling me a poet who knows poetry, that's a cool compliment, but i have to confess that i don't think that that's the case, i think how you described yourself i can apply to me as well, also, i don't know about you, but i just dabble for fun

Lustorlove, mm don't get me started on chocolate or I'll writing sonnets on
it or haiku to it.  You know Dilettante Chocolate?   I really shouldn't go there now, lol.  You know what they say about love, endorphin and chocolates.

Re: i like this
Hi Chrisja, I always appreciate a critique from a poet who knows poetry. Me, I don't know much about poetry, but I know what I like.  I know just enough about the rules to break them.  Thanks for stopping by.
