Offy, The Exorcist scared me so bad when I first saw it I couldn't sleep

for three weeks after!  Even to this day Linda Blair gives me the willies.

I agree, The Exorcist was the best! Another one that was fun was The Night of the Living Dead, the original from '68. I haven't seen the remake, I didn't want to be disappointed...

I've always thought the Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr. was the scarriest

There is something about the scenes where he turns from man to werewolf that scared the bejesus out of me and still terrifies children today.

I'm not fond of the horror movies because I do not like blood and gore and I especially do not like seeing it done on purpose.  Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a nurse (was one) and I can give care when needed without fainting, but the idea of one person doing it to another just for the fun of it, freaks me out.

Hitchcock was the best at horror movies, my daughter went and saw the Saw movie last night loved it but was scared to death at the same time, me I dont horror movies but I think I saw all of Hitchcocks
