Re: Naut on Religion...Part IX
That's why I said 'progress' is a fairly useless term, Wavy...

And I thought I was getting paranoid, TAPS, but now that I find you have actually been following me around, I feel a lot better...Of course, you may have noticed that I've been turning the tables on you and followed you as well, with great delight...

Naut on Religion...Part IX
Nautikos: Progress is such a subjective term. On an economic level in the United States, adding huge chain and franchise stores like Home Depot, Wal Mart and Stop & Shop is progress. Who cares if the small Mom-And-Pop store can't compete with them? Progress in religion? I guess it means getting to the eternal truth. People have a different definition of that as well.

By the way, Nautikos
I did go way, way back and read some of your posts that you wrote way before I discovered what a good writer you are and started following you around everywhere.

I like the way you thow the word "hence" around here and there in this blog. It makes it sound so official and scientific.

Okay, if it makes you happy (why would I want to make the destroyer of my BV happy???) I'll call it 'the-series-that-grows-like-an-evil-fungus-on-the-otherwise-unblemished-skin-of-Blogit-or-else-clogs-and-makes-impassable-the-streets-of-Blogitville-to-employ-a-different-metaphor...Okay???
However, what is more interesting to me is the second part of your message - you seem to be in direct contact with the deities - any chance of getting me plugged in, or even arranging for an interview? Face to face, like? At their convenience, of course...

Please find my comments below:
"as we are doing in this little series" .... seeing that this has been going on till the beginning of time, you have no right to call this a little series!!!!!!!!!!
Please find the Gods (all you've listed so far!) comments below:
We're really getting impatient with that "To be continued" remark ~ we fear that you will eventually tell us that we do not exist!

Very interesting commentary here. Progress in linear time might actually be regress!
