So nice to hear you like Thanksgiving as much as we do. Today I washed up the "good dishes" and checked all to see what needed to be done. I guess I feel like a pioneer at the holidays. Some "little house on the prairie " I guess.

I am just happy the weather is back to normal, to me there is nothing special about Thanksgiving other than we get 4 days off

I always look forward to Thanksgiving. Its a wonderful holiday, not just because of the food, but the ambiance is great--family, laughter, hugs, good aroma's, pretty bounty, etc. I hope all those displaced from the CA fires can find some semblance of home and peace by then.
