Katray, we Californians do have our moments.

But we have a lot of fires, too, and we learned from Katrina -- not everyone paid attention to those lessons, but fortunately for us, our government here did.  They have more supplies, food, water, etc. then they could handle and every shelter allowed pets!  Plus we have lots of places that are even taking livestock, even Qualcomm... there's horses all over the place... lol. Where else but California can you go to an evacuation shelter and take a yoga class, eat kosher food, see dancing rabbis, watch a band, get a massage, and meet Arnold Swarchenegger -- the governor?  I love the spirit of the people here, too.  Some people lost their homes and still volunteered.  Amazing.  Thanks for stopping in and sending out all the thoughts and prayers.  :)

Good to hear things are easing a bit, Temple

California does seem to be a very "together" state, thank goodness. Hopefully your breathing will improve and you can get some much needed rest soon. Thoughts and prayers continuing - Be well.
