Hillary's negatives are so high that she is probably not electable either. Exactly why all Republicans (including George W. Bush) are focusing on her. This is a play from the book written by Karl Rove on how to start focusing and trashing the one Democratic candidate they know they can win against...which causes Democrats to rally around that candidate and help them win the nomination. They did exactly that with Kerry knowing that it would have the effect they wanted. Kerry as the nominee who they knew they could then beat in the general election.

Right you are, Dems. And I'm with you. I like Edwards the best out of the
Democrat pack, with Biden second. I don't mind Obama and Hillary too much, but Hillary's got baggage and Obama just isn't electable, period. Dodd and Kucinich have a lot of heart (and Kucinich is definitely the thinking man's candidate, but that'll get you nowhere in a buzzword war), but they don't stand a chance in hell of getting the nomination. Richardson is a good man, but, like Obama, not electable. Unfortunately, for the both of them, it is a race issue. Too many conservative Democrats will not back them. Like it or not, it is the truth.
Over on the Republican side, the only one who doesn't sound like a warmonger is Ron Paul. Giuliani and Romney literally scare the hell out of me. Huckabee seems like a really good guy but can we trust another god-fearing bible-thumper in the White House? Look where listening to god got us with Dubya...
