ROFLMAO, PAT.   I'm amazed at your artistic abilities, TAPS.  How on earth did you contrive such a true-to-life image of the great Adonis.   A masterpiece that will live on in ..... sorry, PAT.....  I'll have to stop so I can clean the coffee from, my monitor.  An A++++ comment, young lass.

John, I didn't have a misspent youth, so I'm making up for it by having
a misspent adulthood.

Whacky
Yes, you were right, Whacky - do it the old fashioned way.  I'm still trying to work it all out.  It takes a lot of time, but if I'd started doing it that way when I started farting about with Photoshop, I could have had it finished - perhaps.

John, here's my finest achievement on Photoshop...
Now you'll understand why I shouldn't be given adult things.

Krisles
'The highest or furthest point,' Krisles, as in 'the rocket reached its apogee before falling back to earth.'   How on earth did you know those trunks were sexy?   Have you been peeking?   Thanks for the pat on the back, Krisles.  It sounds like you, .Dave, Pat_B, and myself are all agreed on Photoshop's usefulness - not.

Re: I just saw an ad for a Fisher Price toy for drawing
I did feel safer with the new blue shorts on, Pat.  As for Photoshop, as I replied to Dave, I've given that a by for now and am trying the old fashioned method of tracing paper and light box - we'll see what happens.

.Dave
I've given up on Photoshop for the time being, Dave, and I'm taking Whacky's advice to use the old fashioned method of tracing paper.

I think my apogee days are at their zenith, Dave.   For a few minutes last week the swimming was exhilarating when I got the breathing right.  I'll get there.

John
What does apogee mean?  I'm too lazy to go look it up.  Anyway, kudos on the continued swimming lessons.....would love to have seen that dive!.....and I bet the new blue trunks are very sexy.....soon you'll be making like a swan off the board!  As for using any of the photo/painting software, I'm like Dave, won't use instructions.....sounds like Pat has the best idea......but those dang kids toys are even pretty complicated.......

I just saw an ad for a Fisher Price toy for drawing
and making pictures on a little computer. I'm going out to look for it, because I'm sure it will be more fun that Photoshop. My story is -- it's for the grandkids to play with. I'm sticking to it.  That new blue suit should give you confidence -- if your buddy likes it, then Ell did a very good thing... Have fun!

oh yeah... and my problem with Photoshop is that I just can't bring myself
to read the instructions, so I just do it by trial and error. It's always a surprise when something works out. I can cut things out now and scribble on a picture with the paintbrush, but that's about it.

You don't see many apogees on Blogit.
Have just come back from swimming myself. When it starts to come easily, then you will get intense pleasure and relaxation from it.
