He has cured aids! The videos of his sessions are available, in the town he heals in. There are internet sources for these too. There are many groups which give you guided  tours. They charge about $1,500 for 2 weeks!  I would love to see him and get some of my rusted parts overhauled! Thanks!

Gee. 15 million. I wish he would say a prayer for all the people who have
AIDS!

I think I have probably seen him on TV, and I was fascinated no end. There are some others too. Emile Quayae was a frenchman who healed incurable diseases through getting them to repeat a manra: "I am getting all right, I have no ailment, I am Ok", some similar phrases as these, and it worked!!!

What Joao did is commendable, a difficult task but at least he is doing it for mankind. That was a useful article you post therekatzs

This is great. Emotional, mental & spiritual healings are the most  difficult.

Soul Builder, he must be an amaziingly strong person, to be able to
withstand the spiritual energies within him and keep his own ego intact.  Most people like that would become insane.  The article is right, this culture is so very ignorant of the spiritual world.

I think I've heard of him. Thanks for sharing

Yes, Indeed! If it is not survival, it is our 'minds' demanding a more fitting answer! THanks!

Thanks! Joao's thrust starkly contrasts with the thrust of society. Now we know!

Yes, he does it all free! CBS Primetime paid him a visit and, being who they are, tried to cast aspersions on Joao. They pointed to his 1000 head cattle ranch. Tell me how do you feed 25,000 people for free in 3 days? Then some woman claimed he threatened her! The many whom he healed and were themselves transformed, have stood by him. He came to Rhinebeck, New York, the first week of this month. It was all sold out as fast as the news spread! Thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for this. Very interesting!  I heard of John of God many years ago when he wasn't quite so well known.  Enjoyed the article from the accompanying link too, which reminded me of something I'd forgotten - he can't accept money for his services:
"João's 'gift' is not hereditary. It is not a learned technique, nor is it transferable to any other person. At the age of sixteen he accepted the responsibility of devoting his life to spirit incorporation for the purpose of healing the sick. He accepted a lifelong task that would demand much of him and frequently repay him with abuse, personal deprivation, persecution and unlawful incarceration. To be trusted with such an awesome responsibility requires a strong, moral, righteous but humble person with unquestionable integrity. As if these restrictions and puritan criteria were not enough, he must also provide his service free of any charge, lest he lose the gift."
