People are lied to all their lives. Most never emerge to see 'what is'. This you have to go behind the scenes to get! Thanks!

I don't think it is either! Power corrupts! Maybe bosses follow customary roles too! Thanks!

I have seen power abused too often, down the pecking order. Power corrupts! A home Depot manager who fired me, himself got fired. Me and my friends celebrated. Then he got fired again. WE laughed. Now he probably has learnt! I will point the finger when I have to because I am clean. I don't abuse people! They can point all four appendages at me for all I care. People must be treated as people! Thanks!

Everyone has someone to yell at, except us at the bottom! Those guys at the top do have their choices of how to behave with others. THey just follow the power and pretend greatness! Then they get fired, and become normal again! I agree that there is a lot of aggravation up and down the pecking order! Not familiar with the statement, and I can see problems with it! Thanks!

Sticking close to the good guys and being immune to the nasties is advisable. But you have to chop down your own shadow, if you want to be free. It is a traitor! If you have a good possession, fine! Thanks!

Yep, my research tells me that every 7 years, the body renews itself! Each hurt suppresses us (soul), and allows not-self to grow. Continuous 'negative' reinforcement is a way to damage the soul. Thanks!

True! Profits first businesses like unscrupulous people in management, because they drive the good workers to the ground!

Long ago, in India, yogis and spiritual practitioners would gather and together share their techniques, experiences and perceptions of God. They would worship him there too. As Formal Hinduism, grew, this term came to mean a gathering of people, focused on  the glories of God and the worship of God. This involves chanting, singing songs called bhajans, the readings from the holy books, the performing of rituals etc. The old meaning has largely disappeared. Devotees led by Pundits/Swamis are now what it is all about! Thanks!

Beyond the CPU, is the 'seeing' state! There  is peace there!  Shadows can't touch me there or anywhere  else for that matter!  Angels?  Those  I hear tell me thanks, and take care!  Wish I could find them!  Thanks!

Leave them out of your world. Deal with them on a need-to basis! Politely! In life you have to pick your battles. Unless you can decimate them at will, be calm and focused. Anger is not strenght! Remember this! Thanks!

Wow - that is so much to take in - I like that it stretches me and makes me think. Your insight that we feed our taste instead of head (what we should) struck a chord with me. So true that as we choose to do God's will our path will not be smooth.

I have to think about this. Mind over matter or ruled by circumstances?

We only really know one in any position we ourselves have been in that position. We are far too easy to judge others as the enemy. But I like the statement someone else said on here it is us. I just remember every time I point a finger at another I have three fingers pointing back at me. Be blessed.

The enemy
I rather like that statement from - is it Pooh Bear??? - "I have seen the enemy, and it is us!"  I agree that worklife can be very corrosive to the soul, but it seems to me that this is true for bosses too, unless, possibly, they happen to be sole owner of the business - and even then they are at the mercy of customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities, etc.   It seems there is no escape?  We are forced to learn how to co-exist.

There are some situations and people we cannot walk away from (like work) or even some family members ... but I think the key is (like you said) having the ability to protect oneself -recognize it and be selective.

Wow, every seven years?

I didn't know that.

I agree that each thing that hurts us just keeps feeding our sickness, doesn't it?

Good set of questions a the end.
Also your right about brown nosers. They're usually particularly obnoxious to those below them and obsequious to those above!

i have told you how much of this goes on at work, but i reason with myself.  and i do believe birds of a feather flock together.  i have no desire to flock with some of the people at work but have been watching  to see who is who.

there are other things on my mind, mostly feelings.  i am beginning to understand when writers have talked about a gnawing in their insides, or an idea or feeling that just doesnt leave them alone. i am not afaid of being a weak person, but rather of being a very strong person.  does that make sense.
