AmMused,
when babies grow up into adults, they leave home to be on their own. Take care.

I wish to add to Bhaskar's comment! Your life and writing seems to be filled with so much compassion. Go do your book, then come back. You have friends here!

I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope your rescue benefits from this poem!!!! Our pound does not even wait three days on owner releases--- that same day they are put down or the next depending on the time they are brought in-- even though at the intake window they tell you three days-- we have seen it happen too many times...

almost 800 animals were put down just last week in SA!!!!!!! RESCUES need more fosters everywhere

A great work you are doing. My very best wishes that you do succeed in your eneavour. Also I did enjoy every single word with which you give expression to your feelings. Please feel absolutely free to ask any questions you may have through e-mail. I will be only too happy. And, another thing, you do not need any permission from me to do so. People like you are a delight to converse with.
