goblins and ghosts? Well, their Malaysian counterpart would be 'Toyol' and 'Hantu'. 'Toyol' is a 'baby ghost' reared 'to steal money from houses'. Mind you, this is true. And 'hantu' is evil spirit that possesses human by entering their body. This is frequent here in Malaysia.
