Bhaskar
KaHae's comment pretty much summed it all up. This is Henry's writing, denote by the use of quotation marks, and the accreditation. This piece is crucial for those who have awakened to the reality of this world. We are sometimes weighed down by that reality. The way out is to release that knowledge and continue to live in the soul's way! Thanks!

I know I enjoy my time without the TV radio internet.
Seems much more peaceful that way.
A smile or two and rose or three from me and Bo =^..^= the wonder dog!

KaHae
Beautiful comment! It is when evil overwhelms that we often get down to basics! Evil has not taught us anything! We have adapted!

Belief Systems
Our personal belief systems determine how we experience the world.  I can't help remembering that old Solzhenitsyn (spelling?) short story One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich.  I heard it on the radio once and it made a lasting impression on me.  It's about a day in the life of a prisoner in one of the Soviet gulags, and the tiny blessings that he unexpectedly discovers even in such harsh conditions.  Sounds Polyanna-ish, but it held a very profound truth I think.  Like Viktor Frankl's book about his experiences in Nazi concentration camps. The ones who survived were the ones who believed their lives had meaning, even in such terrible and dehumanising circumstances.  It's hard not to be captive to belief systems, I think.  In this case the belief systems had a positive effect, but so often the reverse is true.  Belief systems can also be very disempowering.  Oddly, our belief systems are the one thing we can consciously choose, but seldom do.

Katzs
Henry Makow is an expert in his own right. He recognizes the need to pull back, so we are not overwhelmed, and pursue our real selves! Thanks!

Sometimes, we are so caught up in the material world that we forgot about the spiritual needs.
