Rats are not good house guests either.  Cats think they are bringing us gifts, isn't that amazine.?

Hi soul builder

Anti-venom sounds right and part of that will be my cell phone goes everywhere with me, just in case.

Hi Nautikos

It is fun and as I sit here looking at the mountains I feel at ease.

Thanks for your comment

Hi WileyJ

Yep, I am on notice, " walk softly and carry a big stick".

Hi Afzal

Somehow crawling creatures just get our attention. You be careful too.

Hi Offy

Surely they will warn me  cause I want to slip away and then panic. Good to hear from you.  Hope your Saturday is great.

Lou indeed take a big stick..Rattlers are usually very timid but when provoked they strike. Typically it is a mistake between man and critter but it happens all the time. Also I've never heard of a rattler that didn't let you know it was there should you come to close. They like brush and damp places. No they won't be sleeping in 80 degree heat...Enjoy yourself out there and dream on!

I am scared of snakes and this post has reminded me about snakes
specially when I am going to my native village .

Just be sure the stick you are about to pick up is really a stick!
A smile or two and rose or three from me and Bo =^..^= the wonder dog!

Wow, I'm impressed because I went to CA in 2005 and kept getting warned about those rattlesnakes in the desert country and it did make me cautious for sure. The experience of the heat and the snakes made me appreciate the cold and snow of north Ontario luv. LOL

The whole thing sounds like a fantastic adventure! And 80 degrees? Wonderful! It's getting chilly here...
