Re: parents
I actually shed a tear when my friend related this story to me. I wish I have the chance to show my parents how much I appreciated them but unfortunately, they're have gone to be with the Lord.

parents
This was a great reminder for what we should already be realizing on our own but fail to do so at times. It's important that more and more people read this, so thanks for your post!

Re: Katz
Thanks TAPS.  It is a gentle reminder to appreciate our parents who love us even before we understand what 'unconditional' love means.

Re: Great thought ! Great post !
Thanks afzal.  Sometimes work and family takes up so much time in our lives that we forget to give back to the one that sacrifices for us.

What a beautiful post.  It gave me many memories of my own parents while I was reading your words.

Talking about 'roots'.. I'm not sure which root to look for...Dad's from London and Mom's from Malaysia.
