Re: Inspiration

Thank you for your kind words. They are inspiring to me. I work on my illness with each day that passes, some better than others but all in all I feel great! I know just because I am on my medication does not mean I am cured. I guess I am a work in progress. I have learned through therapist and assertiveness classes even more ways to cope. I'd recommend an assertiveness class to anyone. I enjoyed it through a GSU online course and have a wealth of information that I just wouldn't get through therapy alone. Again, thank you very much for the inspiration and kindness you showed in your comment!

I don't know you, and i just happened to trip over your blog on a random click, but i must say that i am impressed by your recovery. i myself spent my fair share of hours in the cozily decorated dens psycologist. Its hard for people to push past sicknesses of the mind, especially one as deeply rooted as yours. Depression, phobias like agoraphobia, and suicidal tendincies are difficult things to overcome just by themselfs. to be able to push through all that is an amazing feat. Never forget that. I wish you the best of luck in life.

It is wonderful that you do not now have to face the struggles you once suffered with on a daily basis.  Bless you for reaching out and receiving the help you needed.  How grand that the meds are working so well for you.  Take care and be happy.

uhm...wow
thats got to be the hardest thing to deal with, depression, i had a wife who had it and she never got to were your at, it messed her up real bed, she is the worst she has ever been, we were together for 5 hard long years, but nothing ever made her happy, so she went to the world to see what it had to offer and got involved with everything the world has to offer. sounds like you never went down that road. so good job on fighting like a soldier and beating the depression.
