I totally agree with you, growler. Don't get me wrong, I loved every
second of it. I was on edge for the entire last quarter.  But you're right about Buffalo's time management -- or, more accurately, lack thereof.  I was completely amazed.  Actually, several times.  Crazy game.

Saul
Buffalo's play calling lost that game.  Instead of running the ball and using time off of the clock in the fourth quarter, they were throwing.  Somehow, they forgot that the three TD's they'd scored had been by the defense and special teams.  And they forgot that Trent Edwards was a ROOKIE STARTING HIS SECOND NFL GAME!  If they had run the ball and kicked the field goal at 24-16, they would have gone up by 11 and at least been guaranteed OT if Dallas scored, got a two and kicked a field goal.  This would have been made even harder for Dallas, because they would have had to drive the length of the field twice with at least a minute and a half, if not two minutes, less than what they had.  This is straight out of Bill Parcels New York Giants 101.  And Dick Jauron should have known it.  I'm not Tuesday morning QBing.  I was mumbling this at the TV all through the fourth quarter.  The only thing missing from this one was Jauron yelling that the 'Boys are who we thought they were, because they damned sure let 'em off the hook.
