I agree that some institutions thrive on utilizing just about any excuse for taking a holiday.  I don't know about schools in the rest of the country, but locally they were open.  My six-year-old grandson had to go to school yesterday.  Thanks a lot for reading and commenting.  I'll pay you a visit as soon as I get my ISP situation straightened out.

banks and post offices come up with any day they can for a holiday, I dont schools were out
