This is all new to me! If you have a well researched, even intuited book that helped you, I may want to take a look at it! So tell me, OK! Thanks!

I think I have just added another book to my reading list.  Have you read either of Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy's books  Jesus and The Lost Goddess or the Laughing Jesus?  There are many, many authors out there (some who have done their homework and some who have not) whose writings beg us to use our own descernment and open our minds.  I consider myself to be a Gnostic Spiritualist with Christian roots who walks the Right Red Road of the Anishinaabe Peoples of North America.  These are not so much religions as philosophies which have led me to my spiritual truths and an intimate connection with the God of my understanding.  Not necessarily the same as anyone else.  But hey,  that's okay.  My byword is acceptance.  The Anishinaabe people believe there is no right way or wrong way.  Only what is.  We learn either way and the Creator is the Creator no matter how our poor, finite, corporeal minds try to define his/her existence.  Question, question, question... wonderful!

Unfortunately, the article cites no sources except Tony Bushby. He does haave a quite impressive bibliography in his book THE BIBLE FRAUD. He does have a seperate reference list after every chapter. Unfortunately, I can't present those here. The book is worth the expenditure, as I discovered. I bought it because I wanted to know!

My computer is screwing up my reading. Forgive me if you do not see my fingerprints on your blog! The literary world is full of obstacles to understanding. Only with the right passwords can you get access to 'privileged' information.  I will keep presenting hard to get info.

Antonio...
I did add my source. I live in EST and I'm tired after I post. Hope you catch the real authors! All credits to Tony Bushby for his research!

SB -
Again. Very good stuff. I posted about this interesting bit of history a couple of years ago. I was going to ask you to cite references, so I can add to my collection. But I will read the article myself to get them. Keep up the good work!

Very interesting!
Sometimes I stumble upon things that seem to have no source.  It takes a great deal of digging to go back in history on the subject.   And these are not ancient things I've been looking for, in some cases I'm only looking for a couple hundred years.  But, if the subject wasn't documented, then it's lost.  Take care

HI soul
While I may or may not agree with some of the finer points of your research for this two-parter, I agree that the dozens of versions of biblical translations (some missing verses, passages and even entire books, plus some quite blatently mistranslated) are one of the several reasons why I prefer to turn to prayer, community and the Church's teachings regarding the messages within Scripture, rather than leaving it to my own devices to figure out what the heck it's saying.

Glad your pc is back to working...
I honestly don't read the bible, not that I haven't, but right now it's just not anything I care to do. But I wanted to let you know that I do stop by and read what you post. I can tell you put a lot of time, effort and heart into it and I respect that.

Readers
I busted my ass for about 16 hours to get out of this hole. Spybot and Adaware were both compromised. My new friend Scotty is patrolling the perimeter and I have real time protection. I am practically a geek now, but it is all for the good. Thanks for your understanding and support! SB
