- Go to The Christian Right Are Threatening To Not Back Giuliani
Everything's politics, katzs. Sometimes things just get confused by the
use of alternate labels, like job, family, religion, relationship, etc.

I do not back Giuliani, nor am I a christian, nor lean to the right. But
then, I do not lean to the left either, although at times I've been accused of it.

Saul,
I'm a Christian, but I'm not necessarily on the right.

Bush and Cheney (and Rove) have always had their own agenda, Erato, and
a you're-with-us-or-against-us mentality. Nothing new. It's just that most Republicans bought into it, including the Christian Right. You're seeing a major schism here because the Bush/Cheney Republican ideology is nothing akin to true conservative Republican values. Even though the Christian Right are far right on that scale, they are still far closer to true Republican conservatism than Bush's neocon, moderately liberal agenda. They're the flip sides of the same coin. Bush is radical authoritarian fascist; the Christian Right are conservative theocratic fascist. Where the hell is Barry Goldwater when you need him?

There's another side to the Atlantic? Maybe that's why our foreign policy
sucks? LOL. I'll see if I can keep the news as un-FOX-like as possible, Antonionioni, which doesn't mean liberal, just fair and balanced.

Seems the Grand Old Party may be suffering the "enemy within" syndrome
I heard Seymour Hersh say Bush & Cheney have little concern about the future of the party, if Republicans don't support their crazed push to attack Iran. I hadn't heard about this flap over Giuliani; very interesting.

hi saul!
I have so many issues with the "Christian Right". How can a group that claims to have respect for life support a war? I'll never understand the logic behind politics---wait--did you see that? Logic behind politics!? I made a funny!!

To me, Soul Builder, he is the one truly good hope the Republicans have.
He's intelligent, articulate, seasoned, has good ideas. Wait a second... this guy's a Republican? (Just kidding.) Hagel's not running; McCain has lost his credibility. Ron Paul is the only one left in the Republican camp that doesn't come off as some sort of extremist.

Saul R....
The mainstream media has been blacking out Ron Paul..... but he keeps on winning these straw polls. So let's see!
