Naut on Religion...Part VI
Nautikos: The advantage of having one God is that He controls everything and everyone.  No more gods of the sun, moon stars, earth, trees, water, etc.  Less bureaucracy.  You go to the One Source for all the answers.

Thanks. I know you understand that it is not my intention to destroy anyone’s faith. I simply want to demonstrate a possible way of seeing and understanding that is different from that of the ‘insider’…

"We now need to step back in time, and make our way across the Mediterranean, were we find a very interesting development among the Semitic tribes, a development that marks the essence of religious belief of billions of people to this day: the emergence of the idea of One God." ...

It's good to know that my err hmm tribe (???) may have been first at something!!!!!!!! ...

Nautikos

If I were looking for a reason to not believe in God, I definitely would follow you and your teachings.  You make a lot of sense in what you teach and I can tell that you have spent much thought on what you share.  But, since my faith is in Christ Jesus and that which is taught in The Bible, I find what you say very interesting but simply a human philosophy after the rudiments of the world.   I have a feeling you will not convince me otherwise, but I like reading what you have to say.
