Not good for the eyes?

Pushing Dasies...
Was strange, in an almost Scrubs sort of way, but not quite.  I don't know, I think the premise will wear thin pretty quick.  Like in about one minute?

Bandana:
Keep it in the cage, tiger.

posted by bandanafish on October 3, 2007 at 7:33 PM | link to this | reply

So you did watch it then, Whysper?

Or you did not?

"Pushing Daisies", I mean.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 7:31 PM | link to this | reply

You just go ahead and talk amongst yourself, bandana ...

I won't interrupt.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 7:30 PM | link to this | reply

I thought Pushing up Daisies was a good idea

I can't take the narrator though, makes me want to do something rash....

like turn off the tellie

Who's TING??!
p.s. VoTing For Prom Queen!... man, Rachel always came up with some of the strangest catch phrases.

posted by bandanafish on October 3, 2007 at 7:19 PM | link to this | reply

It's strange, food4thought, because not only can they not mention Geico (or run any of its ads) during the show,

but they also even had to change the look of the cavemen a little.

And the new makeup job is horrible!

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 7:08 PM | link to this | reply

I actually planned to watch "Pushing Daisies", Matie ...

But I forgot.

Hopefully, it's "On Demand".

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 7:06 PM | link to this | reply

So...
Does the Gecko get a cameo?

posted by food4thought on October 3, 2007 at 7:05 PM | link to this | reply

Really, Pat B?

Wow. How embarrassing for George Lopez.

That would be like Jimmy Kimmel being replaced by The Michelin Man.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 7:04 PM | link to this | reply

I saw the trailer and it was 'meh' for me.
Also the same can be said of Bionic Woman.

posted by Matie on October 3, 2007 at 9:55 AM | link to this | reply

I missed it. Something on that I always watch.
Thanks for the review. I had a hunch.... And I'm sad they took off George Lopez to make room for an expanded Geico commercial.

posted by Pat_B on October 3, 2007 at 6:54 AM | link to this | reply

Hopefully, Offy, the show will be canceled before anyone gets another chance to see it, anyways.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:59 AM | link to this | reply

Hahahaha
Okay....Madam, you are a wonderful,delightful mess and I promise not to watch....ROFL..

Actually, White Elephant, I have the day off (my presence is required back home).

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:38 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle ...
Aren't you late for school ?  I must confess I didn't mind watching bits of American Idol a couple of years back when I was living overseas ... that Bo Bice was hoooooooooooooooot!!!

posted by White_Elephant on October 3, 2007 at 5:25 AM | link to this | reply

Thanks, White Elephant.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:23 AM | link to this | reply

Unfortunately, Kabu, while the show was hardly "Seinfeldian" ...

I must admit it wasn't nearly as awful as I was hoping it would be.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:22 AM | link to this | reply

Thanks, Dark Moon.
I pride myself on my extremely low word counts.

You're welcome, richinstore.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:17 AM | link to this | reply

Well, one of them ("Nick") was sorta hot, A + B.

Though "Maurice" frightened me.

Plus the makeup on the other two was horrible! And what was up with those eyebrows?!

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:16 AM | link to this | reply

I watched it out of compassion, TAPS ...

So others wouldn't have to.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:14 AM | link to this | reply

You didn't miss much, Ophelia.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 3, 2007 at 5:13 AM | link to this | reply

You're welcome, riri.

Ting, I've never watched an episode of "Idol" in my life!

How dare you levy such a scandalous accusation!

The men don't look too good?

posted by A-and-B on October 2, 2007 at 8:05 PM | link to this | reply

So I'm pathetic am I, Mademoiselle
At least I'm not sitting in front of boob tube cavemen letting my brain deteriorate.   I'm just letting my behind deteriorate and flatten out from sitting in computer seat way too long.

Cavemen
I'm intrigued!  Don't get that channel here...

I have no intention of watching it-- but thanks for your review

Wooo, getting defensive!
Well, Pretty, I think it's time you know this-- I never judged you... almost.

Um, I actually thought "Pushing Daisies" sounded good, Troosha.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 2, 2007 at 1:01 PM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle
Touching a dead person, finding out how they died, then collecting a reward.  It's such an over done story line, don't you think?

posted by Troosha on October 2, 2007 at 12:58 PM | link to this | reply

What a cute fuzzy little thought, bandana!

Too bad it's built on a bald-faced lie!

posted by Mademoiselle on October 2, 2007 at 12:52 PM | link to this | reply

I think you said something similar about
American Idol... before you became (secretly) addicted to it.

posted by bandanafish on October 2, 2007 at 12:46 PM | link to this | reply

Just be sure not to watch it, Le divorcee.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 2, 2007 at 11:25 AM | link to this | reply

LOL

That day is today, actually, strat ...

I'm going to watch (just to see how awful it is) ... but I'll probably hate myself in the morning.

posted by Mademoiselle on October 2, 2007 at 10:56 AM | link to this | reply

When I first heard about it, FineYoungSinger, I just assumed it must be a joke.

I can't believe they actually went through with it!

posted by Mademoiselle on October 2, 2007 at 10:55 AM | link to this | reply

My wife hates the cavemen so much
she won't even turn on the TV the day of the premiere. I think she's planning mass genocide of the Nielsen family on that day, or something...

posted by strat on October 2, 2007 at 10:41 AM | link to this | reply

HAHAHA
Gotta hand it to the adverstisers at Geico, though...they are geniuses.
