So interesting! You asked if there were any regular online daters.. I'm not a regular online dater, but I did once do the whole from email to phonecall to actual visits to 'real' relationship thing with someone from the US (I'm in the UK). It wasn't the first time I had spoken to someone on the phone that I'd been kind of flirting with online, but it was the first time I kind of already knew it was going to be a bit more serious... very unlike me, I just asked him for his number and rang him straight away! We were still on the phone 4 hours later... once I got to know him better, I got more and more nervous waiting for his calls or waiting to call him for some reason :)
