It was good for me to read this, Rob. It's nice to see you post about things you enjoy. Good to hear you're having a pleasant Sunday afternoon...Well, Monday now I suppose! Manly sounds like a fascinating place, indeed.
I'm not a jazz lover though, so I doubt the jazz festival would be on my list of things to do if ever I do get to Oz. I'd love to visit Uluru and the Sydney Zoo, as well as the opera house and then hop over to Queensland to visit the Australia Zoo.
Just curious...can you actually play the saxaphone? Our former President Clinton could play it, and I must admit he was quite formidable. I wish I could still play the piano and I regret never learning the violin.
I know what ya mean about wishing someone had realised your musical genius. The year after I graduated high school, the music department decided to start a chior. I took two years of chorus, but I never had the chance to join the chior. Boo hoo!....
Alas, my dream went unnoticed. I still long to take vocal lessons, but can't afford them.
Ah, well...at least we have our dreams, eh?
