An interesting read as usual my friend, and I certainly have to spend a lot of time thinking about it. I'm at that stage of life where I have to be careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water but yet I am not ready to articulate what I really KNOW and have discovered for myself. You saure make me think about it all though and I do thank you...

Consciousness

Very good post! I read it all and, generally, agree nearly completely. Thank you!

P.S.   Thank you also for reading and commenting on my own current post.  You might want to read my comment to your comment to yours there, since your post and mine are certainly related!

SB and Tony -
I might not have been as clear as I should have been in this post. The global view that is discussed here refers to the ability to see the world from different perspectives, from different points of view - to walk in another's shoes, if you will - and to appreciate how others view and believe in "God" and how those beliefs come to be - through spiritual maturation. It doesn't have anything to do with "globalization" or the diluting of another's culture. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Good post, Sannhet.
My view that nations should be abolished I've already said a couple of times, but I sympathise with Soul Builder that I would not like total uniformity in the world. We need in my view to find a way to preserve cultural, linguistic etc. differences. The only way i can see this being achievable is to restrict unnecessary migration, especially from one part of the globe to another. If all areas are treated equally (unlike now) then poverty and overpopulation can be eliminated and movement will not be deemed a necessity. I think tourism and moving around in the course of one's job is of course a desirable thing though.

This is all new to me, yet interesting. I do have difficulty in accepting globalisation, not for  evolutionary reasons but because it is the handiwork of the rich banker cabal that governs the western world. It is plain commonsense that they want conquest of the world in order to bring it to heel. I have no problem with a multi-polar world. Yoga's stages of ascension is nothing like this. And it adequately predicts the consciousness to consciousness evolution of someone who goes through the process. It is difficult for me to accept propositions  from those who have not experienced spiritual growth themselves.  My psychologist friends have all outgrown their initial assumptions as they carve new vistas in the understanding of human  consciousness! Thanks!
