Who's the Liar Now? Where will the Anti-War Left Go???
Corbin: If you're a Democrat, go with Gravel or Kucinich.  If you're a Republican, go with Paul.  Obviously, if you're pro-war, support the top tier candidates of either party.  It's up to you and where you stand philosophically and ideologically.

BTW, forgot to mention this in my original rant...
I'm a lifelong Dem who firmly believes the working gal is better off when they are in power, but this current crop of two-faced jelly rolls is making me lean toward the greens.  There may be a bit of common sense in the no time-line philosophy. We've screwed up the Iraqi people so thoroughly it may take a hundred years to fix the infrastructure. And GWB has certainly given them the basis for a thousand-year grudge. Even a poorly informed grandma from the midwest can see we should have gone after the terrorists with our best black ops guys, using stealth and patience, the old fight fire with fire tactic.

My expectations are so low that I would be surprised if they didn't lie...

How long the war will last depends on what secret treaties have been
signed while the public has been distracted by Paris Hilton's jail time and what's-her-face who climbs out of limos sans panties, snapping the waiting photographers, and long media sololiquies about hunting accidents involving the VP, an attorney general who doesn't remember who told whom to fire which U.S. attorneys but he's pretty sure it wasn't political, and good job Brownie.  I still like Bill Maher's line about the Dems who'd stand up for something if they could remember where their spines used to be.
