Yeah, you really would.

Oh, yeah, that's right. I forgot.
You'd think I'd know this by now...

"They" read these, too, bandana.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 27, 2007 at 1:33 PM | link to this | reply

Well, at least you are announcing your
premeditated tardiness in the comments section and not in a post-- imagine how much trouble that would get you into again!

p.s. I'm cutting class today, though.

I used to like "Cap'n Crunchberry", Corbin ...

However, I quit eating it in protest after they stopped putting the Crunchberry Beast on the box.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 27, 2007 at 6:09 AM | link to this | reply

I was going to guess.......Captain Crunch (peanut butter flavor)

But your selection is a sign of a sharp quick wit!

It's a grueling schedule, White Elephant.

I should have mentioned "getting dressed" also.

Anyways, I actually am going to school today ... I'm just going to be very, very late.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 27, 2007 at 6:00 AM | link to this | reply

Good morning, Corbin.

And the answer is "Cinnamon Toast Crunch".

Good Morning, Mademoiselle.......
This is a very revealing question..........

What kind of cereal?????

posted by Corbin_Dallas on September 27, 2007 at 5:44 AM | link to this | reply

Well, I'm not just blogging, White Elephant.

I'm also making cereal. Plus watching "Animal Planet". So that's kinda educational.

Mademoiselle
I mean in general ... that's a big no no! I'm probably gonna sound like your mum or something ... but think long-term - I mean if you start cutting school now, what will happen to you ...  you'll probably end up cutting from work too in the future to be on Blogit!  err hmm, speaking of work, I really should be working

posted by White_Elephant on September 27, 2007 at 5:28 AM | link to this | reply

You mean in general, White Elephant? Or right now?

Actually, the reason is always the same, anyways:

I feel I have better things to do with my time.

Mademoiselle
Question from the old and wise .... why are you cutting school?

posted by White_Elephant on September 27, 2007 at 4:55 AM | link to this | reply

I guess I overplayed my hand, A + B.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 27, 2007 at 4:50 AM | link to this | reply

Yeah, Moon, it's hard to believe that was over a year ago, and yet Ebert is still alive and kicking (at least to some extent).

posted by Mademoiselle on September 27, 2007 at 4:49 AM | link to this | reply

Never fake in excess.

posted by A-and-B on September 27, 2007 at 3:46 AM | link to this | reply

Yes, of course, I remember this one. Which just proves that you should rename your blog the The Unforgettable, Unbearable Lightness Of Blogging (or something like that). Moon

Oh, no, Corbin, my encounter was very real.

Except for the part about the sassy robot.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 26, 2007 at 6:10 PM | link to this | reply

I really appreciate you saying that, Offy.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 26, 2007 at 6:09 PM | link to this | reply

Well.......
I'm glad you're back.......no matter who you were dreaming of teasing.....

Thanks for the info, Pat B.

Dennis Haysbert also played President Palmer on "24". And was in an excellent film called "Far From Heaven" a few years ago.

Not sure, FineYoungSinger. He was actually very sweet, though.
Putting up with my mindless blathering like he did.

Love the pink "roger and me" line.
So, if he grabbed your ass, do you think he gave your reaction a thumbs up?  :)pat

oh, your other question -- what's the unit
The Unit is a CBS show about a black ops - top secret - military unit that goes on covert missions. Stars Dennis Hasbert (the guy who does the Allstate commercials) and several other guys, and actresses who play their wives. The stories are well written, believable (what do I know about the way the military/cia, etc. runs their spy stuff?) especially the impact on the wives and families.

Hiya: dropping in from the fast lane...
In answer to your ??? -- Carbon monoxide fumes are what comes out of car exhaust and any kind of burning fuel. There's no smell, but the fumes are not just toxic, they can kill. Seems like any time there's a big power outage someone runs a gas generator in the house or in the garage connected to the house and someone dies. The symptoms of low level poisoning are headaches, coughing & congestion, depression, other symptoms of intoxication that stem from inadequate oxygen to the brain, poor coordination, etc.

Or, perhaps, a combination of the two, Soul Builder.

posted by Mademoiselle on September 26, 2007 at 11:29 AM | link to this | reply

They do, indeed, Bandana.

Btw, I've also met the #4, #5 and #7 people on the list. None of them attempted to molest me, though.
