It would be nice if that was our reality, wouldn't it? Maybe someday.

Good question, Corbin Dallas, Thank you
I am not talking about being a ruler, these are policies I would strive toward with involvement of the citizenry as a whole, the free flow of democracy; by the checks and balances as laid out in the constitution. The hope being that many would recognize the value of such goals, for themselves and for others. Majorities win the vote and agenda and it should be won in the most open and fair process possible, but the minority should not be shunned or silenced either, nor should or could trade or business - the rules/laws need massive overhauls for a better balanced field upon which all humanity can live, debate ideas/ideals and thrive in liberty and justice.
Power does corrupt mortals; that's why in any form of leadership/administration, there needs to be objective watch groups and oversight that are held strongly above the fray. And when corruption is detected, appropriate methods employed to correct and/or remove.

......:) At least a founding member of a new and very, very different
association for life and liberty - The Humanitarian Party. One of those huge items on "things to do before I die" list. Thanks again, White Elephant!

Just curious.......
Who's going to do all of the "enforcing" of your goals? They are truly noble ones.....but, like in the book Animal Farm....the piggies became the same as their masters....will the "cure" be worse than the symptoms??

Why thank you, White Elephant
Abolishing poverty and it's attendant miseries everywhere it exists in the world would be the goal of holding the sanctity of all human beings far above the base and gross concerns of corporate entities and their elitist mind set which rewards dictatorships and repression.
